Newell runs its carrier board on Trucker Tools, whose private load boards give a broker's approved carriers first access to new freight. Trucker Tools is free for carriers, needs an MC number, and documents Book It Now, bids with instant replies, ELD tracking and POD upload. Connected to Cargofy, the Newell loads your account is allowed to see appear in Load Hub next to your inbox and your exchanges. The dispatcher who keeps the Trucker Tools portal open usually switches it on.

Set a lane preference once

A flatbed fleet runs Ohio to the Carolinas and wants every Newell load on that lane. The dispatcher sets an auto-search in Load Hub: Columbus to Charlotte, flatbed, pickup within two days. Cargofy checks Newell's board under the fleet's own Trucker Tools account on every refresh. A matching load lands in the table with equipment, dates and weight, and the dispatcher gets a notification.

Catch the private load while it is exclusive

Private boards on Trucker Tools let a broker's trusted carriers see freight first. When Newell posts a load and notifies its network, the load appears in Load Hub within the refresh window, with the deadhead from the truck's last stop worked out. The dispatcher checks the lane against the fleet's floor rate and decides while the load is still exclusive. A load that fits goes to the digital worker.

Bid through the digital worker

Trucker Tools documents bids with instant replies. The dispatcher sets the number, and the digital worker submits the bid through the fleet's Trucker Tools account. Newell's reply comes back onto the same row in Load Hub: accepted, countered or declined. On a counter, the dispatcher answers from the row and the digital worker sends it. Every bid carries the dispatcher's number.

Book It Now, then confirm

A load with a Book It Now rate is the shortest path. The dispatcher marks the load, the digital worker sends the booking request through the fleet's account, and the row moves to requested. Trucker Tools issues the rate confirmation on its side. The load is booked once the dispatcher confirms it in Cargofy. Before that, a request the fleet no longer wants can be withdrawn from the same row.

Track, deliver and send the POD in Trucker Tools

Trucker Tools tracks a booked load through the driver app, Text to Track over SMS or WhatsApp, or the fleet's ELD, with the driver controlling what the broker sees. After delivery the driver uploads the POD, and the fleet sends its invoice, through the Trucker Tools app or web portal. The dispatcher closes the load in Load Hub so the fleet has one timeline for the week.

How it fits your stack

Your Trucker Tools account stays the account of record, and Newell decides who gets access to its board. Cargofy reads the loads your account is entitled to see and sends bids and booking requests on your behalf. The dispatcher confirms every booking. Onboarding with Newell, and the MC number Trucker Tools requires, come first. Tracking, POD upload and invoicing stay in the Trucker Tools app and portal and are not written back from Cargofy. Load data is stored in the EU, in Frankfurt.

Fleets of 2 to 100 trucks already approved by Newell, and owner-operators who use the free Trucker Tools app from the cab. Best fit for carriers with a repeat lane where Newell posts steady freight.
