Armstrong Transport Group

Freight broker with 7,000+ shipper customers across North America and a gated loadboard for approved carriers. Loads posted by Armstrong agents appear in Load Hub under your Armstrong account, matched to your auto-search, ready for an inquiry or booking request.

Armstrong Transport Group is a freight broker with more than 7,000 shipper customers across North America. It moves FTL, LTL, flatbed, expedited, temperature-controlled, intermodal, cross-border and heavy haul freight. Its agents post loads to the ATG Loadboard, which only approved carriers can open with an MC or DOT number. Connect the loadboard and those loads appear in Load Hub with your email and exchange loads. The dispatcher who holds the Armstrong login usually switches it on.

What teams use it for

Set the backhaul once

A twenty-truck flatbed fleet delivers steel into Atlanta and runs home to Charlotte empty. The dispatcher sets an auto-search in Load Hub: Atlanta to Charlotte, flatbed, up to 22 t, Tuesday to Thursday. A digital worker reads the ATG Loadboard under the fleet's own account, matches every posted load against the search, and sends a notification when one fits. The load card shows lane, dates, equipment and the posting agent.

Catch a posted load and send the inquiry

An Armstrong agent posts a load at 08:10, and it reaches the Load Hub table in the same refresh as loads from email and exchanges. On the ATG Loadboard, a carrier moves on a load by contacting the agent who posted it. The digital worker drafts that inquiry: truck, availability and the rate the dispatcher wants. The dispatcher edits the number and confirms before it is sent. The agent gets Armstrong's alert by text, email or in the system, and the reply lands on the load card.

Book with confirmation

The agent agrees the rate and sends the rate confirmation the usual Armstrong way. The dispatcher confirms the booking in Load Hub, and the load moves from open to requested to booked, with the agent's name and the confirmed rate on the card. The fleet plans the driver's next pickup around it.

Run the load with Armstrong's tracking

After booking, the load runs on Armstrong's tools. Armstrong's TMS connects to MacroPoint and Transflo for tracking and documents, and the driver follows whatever the agent set up at booking. In Load Hub the load stays on the same timeline as every other load that week, so a late truck is visible before the agent has to call.

Get paid through TriumphPay

At delivery the driver sends the POD through the channel the agent agreed. Armstrong pays through TriumphPay: the dispatcher checks payment status at secure.triumphpay.com with the fleet's MC or DOT number, and QuickPay is available at a 2.5% fee. The dispatcher marks the load delivered in Load Hub, and the weekly view shows what the Armstrong lane paid against the fleet's other lanes.

How it fits your stack

Your Armstrong account stays the account of record. Onboarding happens on Armstrong's side first, through Highway: 90 or more days of active authority, USD 100,000 cargo and USD 1,000,000 liability insurance, and a signed carrier agreement. Setup takes 15 minutes or less, with same-day approval. Cargofy reads the loads your account is entitled to see and sends inquiries or booking requests under that account; you confirm every booking. Cargofy does not send status updates to Armstrong. Tracking, POD and payment stay in Armstrong's tools and TriumphPay. Load data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt).

Who it is for

Fleets of 2 to 100 trucks running flatbed, van, reefer or cross-border lanes across the US, Canada and Mexico, approved with Armstrong. Owner-operators use it from a phone to see agent postings between stops.
