Truckstop

One of the two largest US load boards. Loads from Load Hub are posted and boosted on Truckstop, Rate Insights prices the lane in Sales, and every carrier's MC or DOT clears RMIS in Carrier Network before tender.

Truckstop is one of the two largest load boards in the United States, and its API carries more than the board: Rate Insights, RMIS carrier intelligence and ELD tracking. Connected to Cargofy, loads post from Load Hub, lanes are priced in Sales, and every carrier's MC or DOT clears RMIS in Carrier Network before it can be tendered. Transport planning and procurement usually request it together; the IT admin holds the keys.

What teams use it for

Cover a dropped load faster

The usual carrier drops a reefer load from Atlanta to Miami at 08:00. The planner marks it for cover in Load Hub, and the post goes to Truckstop with equipment, stops, rate and visibility from the load. A digital worker refreshes the post and, when replies are slow, applies a 30-minute Load boost. Trucks from Truck Search and Hot Prospects come into Load Hub as candidates, so the planner sees who is available and at what rate without opening the board.

Keep unvetted carriers off the tender list

A carrier calls in on the post. By then the digital worker has run the MC or DOT through RMIS, so nobody looks it up on a separate site while the load waits. Risk factor, compliance status and documents are read into Carrier Network, and only carriers that clear your rules reach the tender list. Procurement sees the RMIS result and documents on the carrier record. Your own carrier contract and insurance certificate stay on file with you; RMIS does not replace them.

Price the lane before you post it

A load lands in Load Hub on a lane the company has not run this quarter, with no target rate. Before the post goes out, a digital worker reads Rate Insights for the lane (booked and posted rate estimate, 4-week trendline, 36 months of history) and shows it in Sales next to the load. Procurement sets the target from the estimate, and the planner posts to Truckstop at that number. When a customer asks for a quote on the lane, the sales rep prices it in Sales with the trend in view.

Follow the tendered truck by ELD

When a tender is confirmed, the digital worker adds the carrier to your monitored list on Truckstop, and its ELD position flows into Tracking. Customer service sees where the truck is and answers the consignee without calling the driver. Positions cover only carriers on your monitored lists, not every carrier on the board.

Stay current without re-reading every load

A carrier books a posted load on Truckstop while the planner is on another call. Cargofy pulls the change through Truckstop's Delta API and marks the load booked in Load Hub, and the digital worker stops refreshing the post. Refreshed posts and RMIS compliance changes come through the same path. After a short Truckstop outage, the gap fills in on reconnect and no updates are lost.

How it fits your stack

Your TMS or ERP stays the system of record; Load Hub carries the loads you choose to cover. Cargofy writes posts, boosts, tender updates and monitored carrier lists to Truckstop, and reads trucks, rate estimates, RMIS data, carrier documents and ELD positions back. Setup is per installation: access needs a signed Systems Integration Agreement and the Load Board Pro plan, and Truckstop's account manager issues the keys, so the timeline is agreed at scoping. Posts made by hand in the Truckstop UI stay untouched.

Who it is for

Shippers covering spot truckload freight in the United States who want carrier vetting in the same flow as posting. Truckstop sells heavily to brokers, but a shipper with its own carrier base, a cover desk and a procurement team that approves new carriers gets the full value.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What freight teams want to know before putting AI to work.

What parts of freight procurement can Cargofy automate?

Cargofy can support carrier sourcing, outreach, follow-up, bid collection, comparison, and the next approved execution step. The exact level of automation depends on the rules and approval modes configured by your team.

Does Cargofy communicate directly with carriers?

The intended workflow supports coordinated communication across phone, email, and messaging. Specific channels and integrations should be confirmed during implementation.

Can our team approve a carrier before booking?

Yes. The workflow can be designed around human approval, predefined execution rules, or a combination of both.

How does Cargofy compare bids?

Yes. The workflow can be designed around human approval, predefined execution rules, or a combination of both.

How does Cargofy compare bids?

Cargofy brings carrier responses into one structured view so your team can compare rate, timing, requirements, and carrier fit before making a decision.

Can we start with one lane or facility?

The recommended rollout is to begin with a focused workflow, validate the operating rules, and expand after the team is comfortable with the process

Will Cargofy replace our current systems?

Cargofy is intended to connect procurement work across your existing operational environment. The exact implementation depends on the systems and integrations already used by your team.

How are actions and decisions recorded?

The proposed workflow keeps carrier communication, bid updates, approvals, and execution steps connected to the load. Confirm the exact audit-history behavior before publication.

How long does implementation take?

Implementation depends on the workflow, integrations, and level of automation required. Book a demo to define the right starting point for your team.
