Echo Global Logistics (EchoSync Carrier API)

US freight broker with the EchoDrive carrier portal and a carrier API in EchoSync. Echo loads your MC is approved to see appear in Load Hub under your Echo account, matched to your auto-search, ready for a bid or booking.

Echo Global Logistics is a US freight broker with its own carrier portal and app, EchoDrive, and a carrier API inside its EchoSync integration platform for pulling available loads, bidding and booking. Connected to Load Hub, the Echo loads your MC is approved to see sit in the same table as loads from your inbox and freight exchanges, matched to your auto-search. The dispatcher who runs the EchoDrive account usually switches it on, with an API key issued by Echo.

What teams use it for

Set a return lane once

A truck delivers in Kansas City on Wednesday and needs to be back in Chicago by Friday. The dispatcher sets an auto-search in Load Hub: Kansas City to Chicago, dry van, pickup Thursday, up to 20,000 kg. Load Hub pulls the Echo loads the carrier's account is entitled to see through the EchoSync Carrier API and checks each one against the search. A match sends the dispatcher a notification with lane, dates and the rate Echo shows.

Catch a suggested load before the rep calls

EchoDrive serves daily Suggested Loads and Preferred Lanes tailored to the carrier, plus reload opportunities on Echo-booked freight. Those loads reach Load Hub with the rest. At 06:30 a dispatcher sees a Memphis to Atlanta reefer load that fits the truck delivering in Memphis that morning. She checks the pickup window against the driver's hours and the weight against the trailer, and bids while the load is open.

Bid through the digital worker and see the counter

When the posted rate is below what the lane needs, the dispatcher types her rate, and the digital worker submits the bid through the API under the carrier's Echo account. Echo sends notifications on counter-offers and acceptance, and those land on the same load in Load Hub. The bid, Echo's counter and her reply sit in one thread, and she answers from there.

Book Now with your confirmation

When the rate works, the dispatcher taps book. The digital worker sends the Book Now request under the carrier's Echo account, and the booking goes through after the dispatcher confirms in Load Hub. Echo returns the booking confirmation, the load turns to booked with pickup, delivery and reference numbers, and the dispatcher assigns the driver and shares the stop details.

Track, send the POD and get paid through EchoDrive

After booking, the driver shares live tracking through the EchoDrive app, which replaces check-in calls with the Echo rep. After delivery, the driver uploads the POD and other documents in EchoDrive, and the dispatcher watches current and past receivables in the portal. Load Hub keeps the load open with the same POD attached until the portal shows it paid, then the dispatcher closes it.

How it fits your stack

Your EchoDrive account stays the account of record. Onboarding happens on Echo's side first: you sign up for EchoDrive with your MC number and get approved, then request an API key through your Echo rep. Cargofy reads the Echo loads your account is entitled to see and sends bids or Book Now requests through the EchoSync Carrier API. You confirm every booking. Cargofy does not send tracking, PODs or invoices into Echo; those go through EchoDrive. Your Load Hub data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt).

Who it is for

Fleets of 2 to 100 trucks and owner-operators approved with Echo, running dry van, reefer or flatbed lanes across the United States. Best fit if Echo loads are a weekly part of your book and you want them in one search with the rest of your freight.
