ABC Supply (OTM carrier portal)

North America's largest wholesale roofing distributor, with branches across the US and Canada and an Oracle Transportation Management carrier portal. Loads you are approved to haul appear in Load Hub under your ABC Supply account, ready for a booking request.

ABC Supply is North America's largest wholesale distributor of roofing supplies, plus siding, windows and other building products, with branches across the US and Canada. It runs its own delivery fleet. The carriers it works with see its freight through an Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) carrier portal. Connect the portal and the loads ABC Supply offers you appear in Load Hub alongside your email and exchange loads. The dispatcher who holds the portal login usually switches it on.

What teams use it for

Set the return lane once

A ten-truck flatbed fleet delivers into the Chicago area every week and runs empty back to Indianapolis. The dispatcher sets an auto-search in Load Hub: Chicago to Indianapolis, flatbed, up to 20 t, Thursday to Saturday. A digital worker checks the ABC Supply portal under the fleet's own account, reads the loads it is entitled to see, and matches them against the search. On a match, the dispatcher gets a notification and a load card with lane, dates, equipment and the portal reference filled in.

See new shipper loads next to broker loads

When ABC Supply releases a load, it lands in the Load Hub table in the same columns as loads from email and exchanges. No one has to keep the portal open. The dispatcher sorts by pickup date and deadhead, sees the ABC Supply load next to two broker loads on the same day, and picks the one that fits the truck unloading nearby.

Send a booking request and confirm it yourself

The dispatcher chooses the load and clicks book. The digital worker prepares the booking request under the fleet's ABC Supply account with truck, driver and dates, and shows it for review. After the dispatcher confirms, the request goes out through the portal, and ABC Supply accepts or declines it on its side. Load Hub shows the request as sent, then accepted, and the dispatcher plans the driver's week from there.

Run the load the way the shipper expects

After acceptance, the portal is the place of record for the load. Status updates, paperwork and invoicing follow what ABC Supply agreed with you at onboarding. In Load Hub the load sits on one timeline with every other load the fleet runs that week, so the driver's next pickup is planned before the current one delivers.

How it fits your stack

Your ABC Supply portal account stays the account of record. Onboarding, approval and paperwork happen with ABC Supply first, on its side. Cargofy reads the loads your account is entitled to see and sends booking requests under that account. You confirm every booking before it is sent. Only search and book touch the portal: Cargofy does not write status, POD or invoices back, and those stay in the channels ABC Supply gives its carriers. Load data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt).

Who it is for

Flatbed and van fleets of 2 to 100 trucks that haul for ABC Supply or are approved in its portal, running lanes between its branches and supplier plants in the US and Canada. Owner-operators check the table from a phone between stops.
