PECO Pallet

PECO Pallet rents its red block pallets to beverage, grocery and consumer goods companies across the United States, Canada and Mexico. About 100 independent truckload carriers deliver its pallets to manufacturers and bring empties back from retailers to its 40 plus depots. Connected to Cargofy, the PECO loads your carrier account is entitled to see appear in Load Hub next to your inbox and your exchanges. The dispatcher who plans depot runs usually turns it on.

Set an auto-search for your depot lane

A fleet returns empty from a grocery DC near Dallas twice a week, with a PECO depot on the way. The dispatcher sets an auto-search in Load Hub: Dallas area outbound, dry van, pickup within a day of delivery. Cargofy checks PECO's loads under the fleet's own account on every refresh. A recovery load of empty pallets bound for the depot lands in the table with pickup and delivery windows, and the dispatcher gets a notification.

Catch the pallet load while it is open

PECO's transportation planners work from a MercuryGate TMS with live visibility of loads and their status. When a load for the fleet's lane is released, it appears in Load Hub within the refresh window, with the deadhead from the truck's last stop worked out. The dispatcher checks the run against the fleet's floor and the day's schedule and answers while the load is still open.

Book the load and confirm it yourself

The dispatcher marks the load, and the digital worker sends the booking request to PECO through the fleet's account, with the truck and driver PECO has on file. The row in Load Hub moves to requested. The load is booked when PECO's planner confirms on their side and the dispatcher confirms in Cargofy. Until then, a request the fleet can no longer cover can be withdrawn from the same row.

Get set up with carrier relations first

A fleet new to PECO starts with PECO. There is no public sign-up: the owner contacts carrier relations, supplies authority, insurance and equipment details, and is set up on PECO's side. PECO rates its carriers on on-time performance, delivery status updates, invoicing timeliness and FMCSA CSA scores. After setup, the dispatcher links the PECO account in Cargofy settings, and the loads that account is entitled to see appear in Load Hub.

Deliver, update and invoice the way PECO scores you

On a booked load, the driver runs pickup and delivery on PECO's timeline, and the dispatcher sends delivery status updates through PECO's own channel. After delivery, the POD and invoice go to PECO the way its transportation team asks. PECO's TMS runs automated freight audit and pay on its side. The dispatcher closes the load in Load Hub so the week's timeline is complete.

How it fits your stack

Your PECO carrier account stays the account of record, and PECO decides on its side which loads you can see. Cargofy reads those loads and sends booking requests on your behalf. The dispatcher confirms every booking, and PECO's planner confirms on theirs. Setup with PECO carrier relations comes first. Status updates, PODs and invoices run through PECO's own process and are not synced from Cargofy. Load data is stored in the EU, in Frankfurt.
