Opendatabot

Opendatabot is a Ukrainian service with a REST API over the state registers: legal entities and sole traders, court decisions, debtors, enforcement proceedings, tax debt and VAT payer status. Connected to Cargofy, a new carrier or shipper is screened when its EDRPOU or tax ID goes into Carrier Network, and the profile carries a risk verdict. Carrier procurement usually switches it on. The connector is live, so activation is the same day.

Screen a carrier before accepting its first quote

A dispatcher gets a quote for coils from Dnipro to Lviv from a carrier nobody has used, and enters its EDRPOU in Carrier Network. A digital worker reads the company record from the state register, checks the debtor register, enforcement proceedings, tax debt, VAT status, bankruptcy and court cases, and writes a verdict onto the profile within a minute. The profile shows an open enforcement proceeding and unpaid tax debt, so the dispatcher declines and takes the second carrier.

Check a sole trader owner-driver

Much of the Ukrainian carrier market is sole traders with one or two trucks. Before the rate is agreed, a dispatcher enters the sole trader's tax ID or name in Carrier Network. A digital worker reads the FOP record from the state register (status, tax group and KVED codes) and writes it onto the profile. Procurement sees whether the trader is active and registered for transport work without opening a register site.

Know who owns the company you pay

Finance wants the director and beneficial owners on file before the first carrier invoice is paid. When the carrier is created in Carrier Network with its EDRPOU, Cargofy reads the company record and puts the director, beneficiaries, address and share capital on the profile. The AP clerk checks the payee on the invoice against it, and the profile serves as the audit record.

Vet a new shipper before offering deferred payment

A forwarder's sales rep is signing a new shipper on deferred payment terms and enters its EDRPOU on the account in Sales. The digital worker runs the same screening, covering tax debt, bankruptcy, liens on movable property and court cases where the company is a party, and writes the verdict on the account. The rep sees it before terms are offered, and finance does not learn about the debt from a late invoice.

Hear about a director change months later

When a carrier passes screening, the digital worker subscribes it to Opendatabot monitoring. If the director changes or a new court case is filed, Opendatabot sends a webhook and the worker raises an exception on the carrier profile in Carrier Network. Procurement rechecks the carrier before the next load and clears or blocks it.

Recheck the whole active base before tender season

Before a seasonal tender, procurement starts a recheck of every active carrier from Carrier Network. Each check is one register query returned as JSON. The digital worker runs through the active base, refreshes each verdict and flags every carrier that picked up a debt, an enforcement case or a court case since the last check. Procurement reviews the flagged carriers and decides who stays in the tender. Request volume is capped by your Opendatabot tariff, so the run is sized to it.

How it fits your stack

Carrier Network stays the record of your carriers and shippers; the state registers stay the source of the facts. Cargofy reads company and sole trader records, court, debtor and enforcement data, tax debt, VAT status, registration changes, liens and bankruptcy, and receives monitoring webhooks. It writes nothing to the registers; the only change on the Opendatabot side is the monitoring subscription. Setup is an API key generated in your Opendatabot account and entered in Cargofy settings. Coverage is Ukrainian registers only, with no insurance or safety data.
