J.B. Hunt (Carrier 360)

One of the largest supply chain solutions providers in North America, with the Carrier 360 load board for approved carriers. Loads your Carrier 360 account can see appear in Load Hub, matched to your auto-search, ready for an offer or a Book Now request you confirm.

J.B. Hunt is one of the largest supply chain solutions providers in North America. Carrier 360 by J.B. Hunt, part of the J.B. Hunt 360 platform, is its free app and website for approved carriers: search the load board, book instantly or place an offer, accept tenders, post trucks, track loads, upload documents and send invoices. Connect Carrier 360 and those loads appear in Load Hub with your email and exchange loads. The dispatcher who holds the Carrier 360 login usually switches it on.

What teams use it for

Save the return lane once

An eight-truck reefer fleet delivers into Atlanta every Tuesday and wants its trucks back toward Dallas. The dispatcher sets an auto-search in Load Hub: Atlanta to Dallas, temperature controlled, pickup Wednesday or Thursday, up to 20 t. A digital worker reads the Carrier 360 load board under the fleet's own account, using its origin, destination and equipment filters, and sends a notification when a load fits. The load card opens with lane, dates, equipment and the posted rate.

Catch a power-only load near the tractor

A two-tractor owner-operator runs power only out of Memphis. J.B. Hunt's 360box program puts J.B. Hunt trailers on power-only loads, and the load board filters for them. The auto-search in Load Hub is set to power only, origin within 100 km of Memphis, pickup in the next 48 hours. A load posted at 06:40 shows in the table in the same refresh as the morning's email offers, with deadhead from the tractor's last stop worked out.

Place an offer through the digital worker

The posted rate is below what the lane needs. The dispatcher enters her number on the load card, and the digital worker drafts the offer under the fleet's Carrier 360 account. It is sent only after she confirms. If J.B. Hunt accepts, it issues a tender agreement, and the load card in Load Hub shows it. The dispatcher opens the tender in Carrier 360 under Manage Loads and accepts it, rejects it or requests changes.

Book Now with confirmation

When the posted rate works and the load has Book Now, which covers most but not all loads, the dispatcher clicks book. The digital worker prepares the Book Now request with truck, driver and dates, the dispatcher confirms, and the request goes to J.B. Hunt under the fleet's account. In Load Hub the load moves from open to requested to booked, with the J.B. Hunt load number, stops and appointment times.

Run the load and get paid in Carrier 360

After booking, the load runs in Carrier 360. The dispatcher assigns the driver there, the driver starts tracking from the app, and detention is handled from location data instead of phone calls. At delivery the driver photographs the POD and uploads it, and the dispatcher creates the electronic invoice. J.B. Hunt pays by Quick Pay, typically within 2 days, free at Elite carrier status and at a 3% fee otherwise, or on standard pay within 21 business days with no fee. The load is marked delivered in Load Hub.

How it fits your stack

Your Carrier 360 account stays the account of record. Onboarding happens on J.B. Hunt's side first: you register as a J.B. Hunt carrier and sign up for Carrier 360. Specialized and high-value loads can add their own requirements. Cargofy reads the loads your account is entitled to see and sends offers and Book Now requests under that account; you confirm every booking. Tenders, tracking, detention, documents and invoices stay in Carrier 360. Cargofy does not write status, POD or invoices to J.B. Hunt. Load data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt).

Who it is for

US fleets of 2 to 100 trucks and owner-operators approved with J.B. Hunt, running dry van, temperature controlled, flatbed or power-only lanes. Carriers that pull J.B. Hunt trailers on power-only work, or haul J.B. Hunt loads every week, gain the most from having them in one table.
