Integration

Timocom

Timocom is a European freight exchange where carriers and forwarders trade loads and truck space across the continent. Connect it and your dispatcher searches Timocom loads, posts capacity and benchmarks European lane rates.

TIMOCOM is Europe's largest freight exchange, with six REST APIs for offers, search, transport orders, tracking, price insights and company profiles. Connected to Cargofy, the exchange works as a source and a destination for Load Hub. Offers go out from the load, transport offers come back, and the order, ETA and carrier data land on one load card. Transport planning usually requests it; the IT admin owns the credentials.

What teams use it for

Publish a load and get a shortlist back

A full load from Poznań to Lyon needs a truck. A digital dispatcher publishes the freight offer from Load Hub with route, vehicle type and dates from the load, then searches the exchange on a schedule for matching transport offers. The planner no longer re-enters the route in TIMOCOM or refreshes the search by hand. The shortlist arrives in Load Hub ranked against the corridor's average rate, and the planner picks a carrier from the load card.

Quote a corridor at the going rate

Sales gets a request for a lane the company has not run recently. Freight Price Insights returns the current average market rate for the corridor, shown next to the quote in Sales. The sales rep prices with that average in view, and the same figure sets the target when the offer is published. Procurement uses it to check a carrier's number before agreeing a contract rate on a recurring corridor.

Send the transport order without re-keying

The planner agrees a deal with a carrier from the shortlist and confirms it on the load card. The digital worker builds the transport order from the load and sends it through TIMOCOM Marketplace. The carrier accepts it in TIMOCOM, and the acceptance comes back onto the same load in Load Hub. How orders map to your entities is set at scoping, since TIMOCOM's APIs are building blocks, not a fixed process.

Answer the consignee with a live ETA

The consignee in Lyon asks when the truck arrives. Customer service opens the load in Tracking, reads the status, ETA and GPS position from Shipment Tracking, and answers without calling the carrier or the planner. Tracking reads on a schedule, so a short exchange outage delays the next read without dropping it.

Onboard a new carrier from its profile

The planner confirms a deal with a carrier the company has never used. When the deal is confirmed, the digital worker reads the carrier's profile and master data from Company Profiles into Carrier Network, so procurement no longer requests company details by email and types them in. Procurement checks the new record, adds the internal fields and marks the carrier approved. The order goes out from Load Hub against a complete carrier record, and the carrier is set up for the next load.

How it fits your stack

Your TMS or ERP stays the system of record; Load Hub holds the loads you want covered on the exchange. Cargofy writes freight offers and transport orders to TIMOCOM, and reads transport offers, order status, tracking positions, corridor price averages and company profiles back. Setup is per installation: TIMOCOM partner management approves API access for your account, and publishing rules, search filters and order mapping are configured with you. The timeline is agreed at scoping. Offers created by hand in the TIMOCOM UI stay untouched.

Who it is for

Shippers with European road freight who cover spot loads on the exchange and want quotes tied to the corridor rate. TIMOCOM also sells to forwarders and carriers; a shipper with its own transport planners, a procurement team and recurring corridors gets the most from it.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What freight teams want to know before putting AI to work.

What parts of freight procurement can Cargofy automate?

Cargofy can support carrier sourcing, outreach, follow-up, bid collection, comparison, and the next approved execution step. The exact level of automation depends on the rules and approval modes configured by your team.

Does Cargofy communicate directly with carriers?

The intended workflow supports coordinated communication across phone, email, and messaging. Specific channels and integrations should be confirmed during implementation.

Can our team approve a carrier before booking?

Yes. The workflow can be designed around human approval, predefined execution rules, or a combination of both.

How does Cargofy compare bids?

Yes. The workflow can be designed around human approval, predefined execution rules, or a combination of both.

How does Cargofy compare bids?

Cargofy brings carrier responses into one structured view so your team can compare rate, timing, requirements, and carrier fit before making a decision.

Can we start with one lane or facility?

The recommended rollout is to begin with a focused workflow, validate the operating rules, and expand after the team is comfortable with the process

Will Cargofy replace our current systems?

Cargofy is intended to connect procurement work across your existing operational environment. The exact implementation depends on the systems and integrations already used by your team.

How are actions and decisions recorded?

The proposed workflow keeps carrier communication, bid updates, approvals, and execution steps connected to the load. Confirm the exact audit-history behavior before publication.

How long does implementation take?

Implementation depends on the workflow, integrations, and level of automation required. Book a demo to define the right starting point for your team.
