Transporeon Visibility

Transporeon Visibility is the visibility hub from Transporeon (Trimble). It reads position, ETA and status from more than 95% of the European telematics market. Connected to Cargofy, every load with a carrier on Transporeon shows a live position and an updating ETA in Tracking, and the daily round of carrier calls stops. A transport manager whose carriers share telematics through Transporeon usually switches it on.

Start the shift with every truck on one map

Overnight, Cargofy reads the list of active transports from Transporeon, matches each one to its load by reference and subscribes to updates. When the dispatcher opens Tracking in the morning, every truck with a carrier on Transporeon sits on one map. Its status moves from en route to arrived to unloading as the telematics report it. The dispatcher picks out which of the thirty loads on the board need attention, without the portal, the TMS or the phone.

Move a delivery slot before the ETA is missed

A coil load from Duisburg to Milan has a booked unloading slot. South of Basel the recalculated ETA moves past it. A digital worker flags the delay on the load in Tracking, sends the Milan site a new arrival window and logs the deviation. The planner decides whether the slot can move. The receiving site learns about the change before the truck is late.

Tell a customer where the truck is

A customer emails asking about its delivery. Customer service opens the load in Tracking, reads the position and ETA Transporeon reported minutes ago, and replies. The same data drives proactive customer updates, so most of those emails never arrive, and the ones that do take a minute.

Put detention on the record with timestamps

A truck reports arrived at a customer site and then sits for hours. Cargofy holds the arrived timestamp and unloading status as Transporeon reported them. A digital worker escalates the idle time to the planner while the truck is still on site. When the carrier's detention claim arrives, the load in Tracking carries times both sides can check.

See which carriers share telematics

Before the quarterly carrier review, procurement asks how much of the carrier base is visible. Cargofy reads the customers and carriers linked to your Transporeon account, plus available vehicles and telematics integrations, and builds coverage per carrier in Reports. Procurement sorts the report by loads carried and takes the gap list into the review: which carriers to ask to onboard to Transporeon Visibility, and which lanes stay dark until they do.

How it fits your stack

Your TMS stays the system of record. Cargofy reads position, ETA, transport status, transport details and the customer and carrier lists from the Open Visibility API. It writes nothing back and does not create transports or tender loads in Transporeon. Setup is an API key issued by Transporeon for your account, entered once in Cargofy settings, and tracking is active the same day. By design, position is shared only inside an active transport, so there is no tracking between jobs.

European shippers whose carriers run on Transporeon Visibility. Transport planners and dispatchers watch delays and detention, customer service reads ETAs, and the IT admin holds the credentials. Shippers with a private fleet need a telematics integration.
