MODE Global (MODE IQ)

Multi-brand US 3PL and top ten truckload brokerage whose MODE IQ load board lets approved carriers search, bid and manage loads. Loads your MODE IQ account can see appear in Load Hub, matched to your auto-search, ready for a bid or booking you confirm.

MODE Global is a multi-brand US 3PL behind MODE Transportation, SUNTECKtts and Avenger Logistics, and describes itself as a top ten truckload freight brokerage and the largest non-asset intermodal provider in the United States. Approved carriers find its freight in MODE IQ, the digital freight platform and load board: search loads, place bids, get matches and alerts, and manage active loads. Invoices, payables and Quick Pay sit in the separate MODE Carrier Portal. Connect MODE IQ and those loads appear in Load Hub with your email and exchange loads. The dispatcher who holds the MODE IQ login usually switches it on.

What teams use it for

Match MODE freight to your own lanes

An eight-truck dry van fleet runs Dallas to Laredo, 690 km, and back several times a week. MODE keeps the fleet's preferred lanes in its Carrier Management System and matches loads in MODE IQ. The dispatcher adds her own auto-search in Load Hub: Dallas to Laredo, dry van, up to 20 t, Monday to Thursday, plus the return. A digital worker reads MODE IQ under the fleet's own account and puts matches in the Load Hub table next to loads from email and exchanges.

Catch a load while the truck is unloading

A truck empties in Kansas City on Wednesday at 10:00. The dispatcher has posted the truck on MODE's side, as MODE asks carriers to do when equipment frees up, and keeps an auto-search in Load Hub for MODE loads within 80 km of Kansas City, pickup the same afternoon. At 10:25 a load posts out of Olathe. The notification brings the stops and pickup window, and the dispatcher moves before the load is gone.

Bid through the digital worker

The posted rate on a Laredo load is too low. The dispatcher enters her number on the load card, and the digital worker drafts the bid under the fleet's MODE IQ account. It is sent after she confirms. MODE's answer lands on the same card.

Book with confirmation

When a load carries a rate that works, the dispatcher clicks book. The digital worker prepares the booking request with truck, driver and dates and sends it to MODE after she confirms. The rate confirmation arrives the usual MODE way. In Load Hub the load moves from open to requested to booked.

Keep billing and Quick Pay in the MODE Carrier Portal

Tenders and load status updates run through MODE's own tools. After delivery, the MODE Carrier Portal shows load-level invoices and payables, lets the carrier enroll in Quick Pay, and gives a factoring company direct access. The dispatcher closes the load in Load Hub, where the next MODE match is waiting.

How it fits your stack

Your MODE IQ account stays the account of record, and billing stays in the MODE Carrier Portal. Onboarding happens on MODE's side first: registration is by invitation only and runs through Highway. MODE asks for at least one year of continuous active authority, cargo insurance of USD 100,000, auto liability of USD 1,000,000, workers' compensation to state requirements, and a safety rating of Satisfactory or None. Cargofy reads the loads your account is entitled to see and sends bids and booking requests under that account; you confirm every booking. Cargofy does not write status, POD or invoices to MODE. Load data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt).

Who it is for

US fleets of 2 to 100 trucks and owner-operators with a year or more of authority, invited into MODE Global's carrier network and running truckload lanes for its brands. Best fit if MODE loads are a regular part of your week and you want to bid and book them from one table with the rest of your freight.
