Total Quality Logistics (TQL Carrier Dashboard)

One of North America's largest freight brokers, posting 80,000+ loads a week to TQL Carrier Dashboard for quotes and Book It Now. Loads your Carrier Dashboard account can see appear in Load Hub, matched to your auto-search, ready for a quote or booking you confirm.

Total Quality Logistics (TQL) is one of the largest freight brokerage firms in North America, working with more than 110,000 carriers and posting 80,000+ loads a week on its free load board. Carriers work that freight in TQL Carrier Dashboard, a web portal and mobile app: search loads, submit a quote, book instantly with Book It Now on select lanes, send check calls, upload documents and see payments. Connect TQL Carrier Dashboard and those loads appear in Load Hub with your email and exchange loads. The dispatcher who holds the Carrier Dashboard login usually switches it on.

What teams use it for

Set the return lane once

An eight-truck dry van fleet delivers into Cincinnati daily and wants its trucks back in Nashville, about 440 km south. TQL's own search advice is to leave the drop blank and use a wide radius. The dispatcher sets that once in Load Hub: origin within 80 km of Cincinnati, dry van, up to 20 t, pickup next morning, toward Nashville. A digital worker reads the TQL load board under the fleet's own account and sends a notification when a load fits.

Catch a fresh load before it is gone

TQL says its loads update quickly and advises carriers to refresh often. The digital worker does the refreshing. A Louisville to Memphis load posts at 06:40 and lands in the Load Hub table next to loads from email and exchanges. The dispatcher sorts by deadhead, sees the pickup is 23 km from a truck that unloads at 08:00, and acts while it is open.

Submit a quote through the digital worker

When a load shows no rate, the carrier quotes. The dispatcher enters her number on the load card, and the digital worker drafts the quote under the fleet's TQL account. It is sent after she confirms. TQL's reply lands on the same card.

Book It Now with confirmation

On select lanes TQL shows the rate and lets carriers book instantly. The dispatcher clicks book, the digital worker prepares the Book It Now request with truck, driver and dates, and it goes to TQL after she confirms. The rate confirmation arrives from TQL with the account executive's extension on it. In Load Hub the load moves from open to requested to booked.

Check calls, paperwork and quick pay in Carrier Dashboard

While the driver hauls the TQL load, the Carrier Dashboard app sends hourly location updates and stops after delivery. The driver then uploads the signed bill of lading and the invoice or rate confirmation under Final Pay Paperwork. TQL pays in 28 days, or in 1 day at 5% off the gross or 7 days at 3%. The load is marked delivered in Load Hub, and the weekly view shows what the TQL lanes paid.

How it fits your stack

Your TQL Carrier Dashboard account stays the account of record. Onboarding happens on TQL's side first: the carrier packet at tqlcarriers.com and the online Carrier Contract, then a Carrier Dashboard login, which TQL approves in about 48 hours. You need a valid MC or US DOT number, USD 1,000,000 auto liability, USD 100,000 cargo insurance and, for reefer, reefer breakdown on the certificate. Cargofy reads the loads your account is entitled to see and sends quotes and Book It Now requests under that account; you confirm every booking. Cargofy does not write check calls, status, POD or invoices to TQL; those stay in Carrier Dashboard. Load data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt).

Who it is for

Owner-operators and fleets of any size running dry van, reefer, flatbed, step deck or power only on US lanes and cross-border to Canada and Mexico. Best fit if TQL loads are a weekly part of your book.
